OnPointe is recruiting a top notch Business Office Manager for their Transitional Care Unit located inside of Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. POSITION: Business Office Manager


The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate all financial activities in the business office to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and overall office administration.


• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or sub-acute setting is preferred

• Minimum of two years’ experience of business office experience

• Experience with Matrix or similar software program is preferred

• Must have a proven track record of integrity and performance

• Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization

• Good Excel and Word skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Must exhibit sound judgment making skills, patience and compassion

• Flexibility and multi-tasking skill

• Embraces a brisk pace in response time in obtaining authorizations for potential patients to the facility and meeting prescribed deadlines

• Strong analytic and problem solving skills

• Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships


• Responsible for general accounting functions to include accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation

• Responsible for obtaining the appropriate authorization for potential resident prior to admission

• Ensures compliance with applicable time reporting policies and procedures

• Participate in the admission process

• Processes new resident paper work

• Maintains all resident business records

• Responds to resident and family inquiries concerning billing and payment
