Job Description

Skills & Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered RN Licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • 2+ years of experience in SNF/LTC or sub-acute care setting strongly preferred
  • Background in staff development or nurse education preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of the state and federal guidelines and regulations specific to skilled and long-term care nursing services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dedication and commitment to providing quality healthcare services in a resident-focused environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Expertise in wound care terminology, interventions, skin assessments
  • Ability to effectively communicate, educate, and support the growth and development of our nursing staff


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Certified Nurse Aide Training and Certification Program
  • Administration of CNA II Mentorship Program
  • Management of CMA I and CMA II Certification Programs
  • Direct Hospitality Aide Program
  • Support facility nurse management teams with continuing education and training of Licensed Nurses and CNAs
  • Assist Regional RN with Quality Assurance Performance Improvement initiatives
